CELEBRATION FOR PAUL MOATES
Please join us Sunday, September 8, 2019 as we celebrate Paul Moates and his love for music
and dedication to our church. Paul started our Wears Valley United Methodist Church
Chancel Choir seventeen years ago! Paul has directed the choir, with Margie’s help thru
many wonderful cantatas each year and they have enhanced our weekly services by sharing
God’s love thru song. Paul’s love for music and his ministry thru music has been such a
blessing to all of us. Paul is stepping down as choir director but will continue to sing with the
choir each week and Sarah Hunter has so graciously volunteered to be our new choir director
to carry on Paul’s legacy. We will continue our celebration with lunch in the fellowship hall
following our 10:45am Worship Service. Fried chicken, cake and drinks will be furnished so
please bring your favorite side dish and join us for this special celebration!
If you are interested in joining Wears Valley United Methodist Church, please let
